Darren's love is like a tidal wave...

Well, I had a small plan for Darren's birthday, but then he called and said that one of his co-workers had given him some tickets to the Pat Benatar concert! If you know Darren, you know that he doesn't care about Pat Benatar. If you know ME you know that I LOVE Pat Benatar! So, for Darren's birthday celebration he took me to a Pat Benatar concert and nearly lost his hearing. We were on the 3rd row, right next to the speakers. Luckily he kept his ears plugged. Unfortunately I didn't, therefore I still have a ringing in my left ear when it is quiet. Still it was so much fun. I should mention that the tickets were initially given to Chad who gave them to us since Darren had mentioned that I liked Pat. Darren didn't know it, but Chad really likes her too! So, Darren's gift was that we didn't have to pay for the tickets...and I allowed us to leave during the last encore so that we could get out of the parking garage before the traffic hit. Happy birthday Darren!
