She really likes him!
Today I had to run get some X-Rays, nothing serious. On Thursdays Livi goes to "Busy Kids". A kind of daycare, activity center that my friend Amy runs. She does an awesome job and Livi LOVES being there. So she was taken care of. My friend Kristie who lives right by Amy offered to watch Mason for me. So I took Mason first. When I took him to the door and then came back to the car without him Olivia kept asking over and over where Mason was. Well I had to take Mason's car seat in because there was a chance that Kristie was going to have to run somewhere before I'd be back. When started unhooking the car seat Livi's questions about Mason's whereabouts got a little more paniked. She was telling me, "no mommy...Mason go? Mason! Mommy". I hurried and ran the seat in and headed back to the car. Olivia was distraught more that ever before. She was screaming Mason's name and she had big huge tears just streaming down her cheeks. I took a minute to calm her down and then jumped in the car and started to drive away. WOW, she went bolistic, yelling "MOMMY, NO NO NO, MASON!" She even tried to undo her buckle as if she was going to go back to get him. As I pulled up in front of Amy's house she was still livid. She happened to glance at Amy's house and in the middle of wailing simply stopped and said, "Oh, Kids, Yea!" in the most cheerful voice. When we got to Amy's door her face was still dripping wet but her smile was HUGE. Some things can really dull the pain of separation I guess. I am just glad that she likes Mason so much and that she'd rather not give him away.
