At One Year Mason...

As a newborn Mason...pretty much liked to sleep!


At one year Mason...

• loves watching baby signing time and doing the signs...
• enjoys wrestling with, following, playing with, and hugging/tackling his big sister...
• would almost rather play with packets of Ramen Noodles than any toy...
• is still a mama's boy, please let it stay that way...
• has figured out how to take back his toys from his sister, he is no longer a push over...
• follows his sisters lead making a big fuss when daddy comes home...
• still hides in the curtains...
• head bangs in his high chair, we are worried about this behavior...
• walks very well and is almost a good runner even...
• manages to always have a bruise or 2 or 3 on his forehead, but rarely cries when the bruise is inflicted...
• talks and even yells at the Christmas tree lights...
• loves to be sung to at night...
• pushes all sorts of random things (upside down play tables loaded with toys, chairs, and even bar stools) around the house with a very serious "I'm working, don't bother me" face...
• can construct his very own slide out of couch cushions while wearing the same "working" face...
• steals his mama's heart with a laugh, a smile, or a kiss almost 100 times a day!
