The Gifts

Livi's main gift was this piano. Isn't it so adorable. The outcome was exactly what I was looking for. She sat down, started plunking away, and started singing "la la la la la". She hasn't done a lot of singing thus far, she just likes me to sing while she does the actions. If you know me you know that I would love for her to sing sing sing. So I thought that maybe she would sing a long while she played the piano. Yahoo!

Mason got that horse flashlight that is in Livi's hand (thanks Kevin, Vera, Kadyn, Jason, and Brayden). She has yet to tire of it. She wouldn't set it down for most of the morning and opened gifts with one hand. She walks into a room and says "it dark in here" meaning turn off the lights. Then she plays with the flashlight. Mason loves it too so I bought a 2nd one at Kohls yesterday. There will be peace in the toy room!

Mason got a basketball hoop. He likes it but hasn't figured out how to get the ball in yet. Livi equally loves the basketball hoop so I am sure he'll figure it out by watching her. He also LOVES the piano. I think he is a natural. On his first "piece" he played slow and then fast and then he finished with a big bang and threw his arms up in the air. It was very artistic. Grandma Janet would be so proud!
